Founded in 1962, Unimex
Hanoi is a state owned company specializing in multi – sector trading. It is
registered and operates under Enterprise Law of the Socialist Republic of Viet
nam. Over the past 50 years of building and development, Unimex Hanoi has
experienced many periods with different names. Each period, each name, each
step of development of the company was
always close to each historical stage,
each vigorous change of the Capital City.
Starting from a
company which bought agricultural produces for export, Unimex Hanoi has been
unceasingly growing in size, in business scope and become a State one-member
company limited the present-day operating in the areas of production,
import-export and investment. Under any condition, be it the most difficult
one, the company always upholds its status as a leading company of the foreign
trade sector of the Capital City and a strong company of the Viet namese
foreign trade sector. In the course of joining the WTO, with a view to
improving the competence for management and operation, to enhancing the
competitiveness of Unimex Hanoi, the company has restructured its organisation,
which consists two branches, 8 centers directly under company and two factories.
Each branch, each center has its own range of products to create the
diversification in lines of business, operation expertise. Such changes have
brought about stable, sustainable development, ever-growing turnovers,
ever-expanding markets; range of products ever diversified, continuously
renovated and developed company in order to assert the trademark of Unimex
Hanoi within the economy of Vietnam in the course of drastical integration and
internationalization as today.
Up to now, Unimex Hanoi has established trading relations
with many countries in the world: The United States, Canada, Germany, Italy,
France, Australia, Turkey, New Zealand, Japan, Israel, Egypt, India, Taiwan,
Singapore, South Korea, China, etc.
